Responsibilities:
• To be involved in all stages of design, design development, documentation and monitor construction processes to completion.
• Coordinate and develop architectural and interior design with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams with technical knowledge and execute the designs in keeping within the bounds of the organization's policies and procedures.
• Interpret project briefs with the design team to develop detailed project designs, drawings and sketch-planning in alignment with technical requirements, resource needs and market demands.
• Review tender drawings and documents for presentation to management and submission for bidding.
• Produce with internal departments/external professionals project specifications and procedures.
• Work with project manager on the coordination with Quantitative Surveying Section to support cost control for the assigned projects.
• Conduct regular site inspection and review with site staff on design/project progress to identify potential problems; draft project changes for approval and implement alternative solutions to overcome project problems.
• Prepare and coordinate material and resource mobility to meet requirement of project deliverables.
• Work with senior designers and project manager on the coordination with relevant authorities, professionals and contractors where necessary.
Requirements:
• 6 years post Master of Architecture
• Min 5 years experience at reputable architecture design firm, from conceptual design stage to construction documentation and quality construction management.
• Experienced in Rhino 3D modelling and rendering programs
• Demonstrated independent, creative, and adaptable design skills
• Structured working methods, analytical thinking and design program planning
• Strong communication and coordination skills in English and Mandarin
