Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect
Location: London, Hybrid Working
Salary: £600 per day
Gleeson are working with an exclusive client who are looking for an experienced, committed Cloud Solutions Architect for a 12-month contract, working 2 days a week in their central London office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable and secure cloud architectures.
• Develop and implement cloud strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and industry best practices.
• Design and lead the implementation of cloud-native applications, leveraging services from platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Provide expertise in areas including cloud security, compliance, and cost optimisation.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud solutions.
• Mentor and guide development teams in cloud architecture best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect in enterprise-level environments.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native design principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
