Summary
Our large financial institution client seeks a visionary Product Owner to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge AI application for automating internal audit workflow creation. This transformative project will leverage AI and data analytics to streamline operations, enhance accuracy, and boost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Shape the future of internal audit: Lead the vision and strategy for the AI application. Define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Master of the backlog: Own the product backlog, manage user stories, and prioritize development tasks to optimize value delivery.
• Bridge the gap: Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical features for the development team.
• Storytelling with impact: Craft compelling user stories that clearly capture user needs and guide development.
• Quality champion: Champion test planning, write test cases, and actively participate in testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Agile maestro: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure smooth project execution and team alignment.
• Communication powerhouse: Possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
Skills and Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience: Proven track record in IT and Banking, ideally with exposure to Trading and Securities.
• 3+ years of Product Ownership experience: Demonstrated ability to own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog in complex, Agile environments.
• Banking domain expertise: Deep understanding of internal audit processes and regulations within financial institutions.
• Agile proficiency: Familiarity with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and methodologies. Experience managing backlogs, conducting ceremonies, and working in iterative, cross-functional teams. *Technical fluency: Strong understanding of AI/ML principles and their application within financial services. Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques is essential.
• Experience in Banking operations or a similar regulated industry: Seamless integration into the client’s environment and culture.
• Experience with AI development and deployment: Knowledge of AI development methodologies and best practices.”’
