Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in delivering key use cases focused on competitive intelligence and predictive analytics. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that showcase industry trends and competitor strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to understand and address ongoing competitive use cases and cloud environment challenges as needed.
• Lead the development and delivery of at least 6 key use cases by YE2024, including:
• Wireline competitive intelligence involving data analytics, API development, and pipeline automation.
• Geospatial predictive modeling and analytics.
• NLP projects requiring NER, summarization, and sentiment analysis.
• Utilize internal bell datasets effectively to derive insights and drive solutions.
• Employ geospatial manipulation libraries (geopandas, shapely, GDAL/OGR, folium, mapbox), dashboarding libraries (dash, flask, matplotlib), and ML/AI libraries (numpy, pandas, scikit, etc.) to execute use cases effectively.
• Focus on demonstrating current and future competition strategies through predictive analytics.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of proven experience as a Python Developer or similar role, showcasing successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in utilizing geospatial manipulation libraries (geopandas, shapely, GDAL/OGR, folium, mapbox), dashboarding libraries (dash, flask, matplotlib), and ML/AI libraries (numpy, pandas, scikit, etc.).
• Experience in data analytics, API development, and pipeline automation.
• Strong understanding of NLP techniques for NER, summarization, and sentiment analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and their integration with Python-based solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing complex challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
