Position overview
The successful candidate will:
• Lead and mentor a small, multi-disciplinary IT Systems team
• Manage, monitor, and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and backup systems, ensuring maximum availability of all production infrastructure and systems
• Manage the effective and timely deployment of projects, including oversight of allocated project budgets.
• Manage and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes
• Lead a program of refresh and renewal while maintaining business continuity and continuing to deliver improvements

The ideal candidate will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in information technology, computer science or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience with databases and knowledge of data and publishing systems
• Exceptional leadership skills and supervisory experience in a small organisation
• Proven ability to schedule workloads and meet deadlines
• Capacity to function autonomously and work as a part of a team
• Current understanding of industry best practice in IT Service Management, Cyber Risk Management, IT Governance and Enterprise Architecture.
• Industry certifications are desirable

Total remuneration package from $157,039 - $181,615 (including salary range from $139,787 to $161,663, employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading).
