WEJOY Pte. Ltd. is a private limited company located in Singapore that focuses on developing WePlay, a social and gaming application for young people around the world. Since its launch in April 2021, WePlay has been widely popular in various regions, including Greater China, the Middle East, Japan and Korea, and North America.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the initialization, monitoring, maintenance, change management, migration, and troubleshooting of server systems, databases, and commonly used supporting software, assessing network quality.
• Handling business deployments, version updates, releases, and quality monitoring.
• Responsible for server planning, monitoring, data backups, log analysis, performance tuning, and related tasks.
• Researching operational technologies, devising operational technical solutions as per requirements, constructing operational automation tools, improving system architecture, and enhancing system stability.
• Engaging in regular communication with projects, assessing and addressing operational requirements presented by project teams.
• Constructing and managing internal account systems, release systems, and continuous integration systems.
Requirements:
• Poly diploma or above, preferably in a CS related field.
• Familiarity with the usage of public cloud products such as cloud hosting, security groups, load balancing, object storage, function computing, log services, dataworks, databases, and CDN.
• Proficiency in maintaining and optimizing at least one type of database software (e.g., MySQL, Redis, MongoDB), including backup and recovery, database tuning, data migration, cross-site synchronization, and security measures.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language like Bash, Python, or Go. Ability to build operational platforms and tools using automation techniques and mindset.
• Familiarity with CI/CD process setup and tool usage (Jenkins pipeline, Git, Maven), as well as expertise in automated operations like Ansible/SaltStack.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, technical sensitivity, excellent learning capabilities, and a diligent and dedicated work ethic
