We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, User Data Insights Principal Responsibilities • Design and drive the deployment of meaningful, full-suite analytics use cases and relevant data-driven solutions (visualization, machine learning / deep learning / AI) including • Full customer life cycle from acquisition, engagement to cross-selling & retention • Advanced use cases covering predictive underwriting & dynamic pricing • Intelligent automation to drive process efficiency • Any other use cases that will deliver incremental value • Identify data opportunities across banking, digital, insurance, Health & Wellness platforms for best-in-class innovative data synergy • Understand data landscape, work with system architect and solution architect to ensure back-end data architecture is analytics proofed • Work with IT team to detail data capture / collection requirement, articulate data related user stories / ingestion requirement, co-design logical data models, and ensure holistic, consistent data flow across Health proposition from fit-for-purpose data consumption perspective • Partner with Data & Analytics team to drive hyper personalization in customer targeting and messaging • Insight support: Provide insights for performance tracking, management reporting and decision making • Analyze data to enhance the journey, campaign design, offer and channel strategy, continuously iterating customer journeys using data insights and tracking success against KPIs • Collaborate and mobilize internal stakeholders across different functions to delivery and implementation • Keep abreast of new technologies, market trends and needs of customers to identify opportunities on data & digital innovation • Keep up-to-date with upcoming health products and servicing options in the market, as well as HSBC’s health proposition • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Mathematics, Statistics, Operation Research, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science or related field. Advanced degree preferred • Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, with financial service or FinTech / InsurTech or other big tech experience in advanced analytics and big data management preferred • Track record of delivering data analytics products and achieving commercial benefits • Experience in architecting end-to-end data or analytics products • Deep knowledge of life & health insurance product and distribution • Team player with a self-motivated mindset • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills are required • Fluent in Chinese & English (written and oral) You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. http://www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
