Global Cloud Business Development Director/Manager The Global Cloud Business Development Director/Manager will manage Neo4j’s overall “Build”, “Go-To-Market (GTM)”, and Co-Sell programs globally for an assigned cloud partner (Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud). The Director/Manager will serve as the “day to day” contact for the cloud partner managers for our global partnership. The Global Cloud Business Development Director/Manager will be a key member of the extended Global Cloud partnership team. The Global Cloud partnership team includes regionally based Cloud Channel Channel Directors and supporting cloud architects and a Global Cloud Channel Architect Director. The Global Cloud Business Development Director/Manager will work closely with the Global Cloud Channel Architect Director on the development, approval and execution of annual plans and programs. The Director/Manager will also collaborate regularly with the cloud partner and Neo4j Partner Marketing Director and field marketing teams to ensure effective alignment on events, partner marketing, and overall GTM activities. The Director/Manager will be closely aligned with the Partner Marketing team to ensure cloud specific sales collateral, campaigns, win wires, and customer references are developed and delivered as needed to support our overall cloud partnership plans, programs, and co-sell activities. Responsibilities Will Include • Cloud Partner Program Management - Manage the assigned cloud partnership programs aligning Neo4j’s “Build”, “GTM”, and “Co-Sell” plans with the cloud partner; • Cloud Partner Corporate Relationship Management - Manage and grow multifaceted relationships with the cloud partners, with the expectation of delivering significant growth (and product / offering collaboration). Be present regularly and often on Cloud corporate office campuses actively networking and expanding our influence and impact of our partnerships; • Build and GTM Alignment with Cloud Partners - Closely collaborate with our Product/Technology organization regarding the cloud partner relationship, product releases, and GTM/event opportunities and support improved innovation working with the cloud partner product groups; • GTM Planning and Alignment - Support effective alignment between Neo4j partner marketing and cloud partner partner marketing teams for successful GTM execution; • Sell To Responsibilities - Help us explore potential business opportunities for Neo4j to be embedded in cloud partner products and services and lead those activities to a commercial agreement; • Cloud Marketplace Excellence - Collaborate with product management. sales/marketing operations; and the Sales Development Representative team to align Neo4j Marketplace offerings to optimize lead generation; • Business Development Accountability - Accurately forecast the results of business development activity; • Internal Collaboration - Work closely across sales, product, finance, customer success and marketing to ensure close alignment in the development and execution of Neo4j’s key strategic relationships. Qualifications • Possesses an established network within the assigned cloud partner to quickly navigate global programs and product organizations. • Proven track record within a SaaS organization of revenue growth and/or in similar role with a Hyperscaler. • Experience building key strategic relationships with major partners, cloud providers and a mastery of working across organizations to make these relationships successful. • Working knowledge of marketplace ecosystems. • 4+ years in the channel/partners sales with evidence of increasing responsibility within a software / SaaS sales environment. • Expertise and experience in creating global cloud service provider strategy, partner programs, and building strong collaboration on overall “Build with” relationships. • Strong technical acumen and well versed in emerging technical trends in the Data, Analytics and AI market. • Willingness to build a detailed understanding of the Neo4j platform. • Outstanding leadership and cross-functional team collaboration skills with the ability to work successfully in a highly matrixed environment with a team of talented and creative people at all levels of the organization. • Genuine, empathetic, humble, and values-driven team player and cross-functional collaborator. • Intellectually curious, a strategic thinker. • Analytical and data-driven with a modern view on cloud partnerships, technologies, and philosophies. • Decisive and action-oriented; ability to make, communicate, and take accountability for timely decisions. • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing. • Hands-on, somebody comfortable operating within a fast-growing public company. • High integrity, principles, and ethics. Preferred Location: Seattle (Amazon Web Services), Silicon Valley area (Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services) Remote office based The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is listed below. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Neo4j’s compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Neo4j utilizes the full width of the range. In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for a stock option grant and certain roles are eligible for an annual bonus. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and certain leaves of absence.
