A major bank in currently seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer for an exciting new project. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities :
• Lead the build, deployment, and operations of automated Azure enabled application environments, patterns, tools, and platforms.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Azure service by participating in project delivery.
• Apply Lean and Design Thinking principles such as customer empathy and creative collaboration.
• Coaching and mentoring team in delivery.
• Evaluate and provide expert diagnosis and resolution of complex service (cross infrastructure / application) issues to ensure effective development, maintenance and support of patterns and platform.
• Facilitate solution design and delivery phases to ensure timely identification and resolution of design issues and decisions.
Key Skills / Experience :
• 4 years Azure Devops
• Citrix exposure
• Infrastructure background
• Demonstrable ability and knowledge in one or more of automation and orchestration products / platforms (like Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible etc.)
• citrix and / or vdi on azure.
• Development experience in one or more scripting languages (Terraform, Bash / Shell, Ruby, JSON, Python, NodeJS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
• Understanding of microservices architecture and supporting technology.
• Experience in Azure architecture styles, design principles, cloud design patterns, security and compliance automation, automated provisioning and deployments.
