Python Software Engineer (Active SC Security Clearance, Outside IR35)

As a Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
• Building and maintaining a web API using FastAPI and hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
You’ll have relevant experience in:
• Must have a strong knowledge of implementing comprehensive logging and monitoring capabilities for API endpoints, with experience in integrating analytics tools and services to capture and analyse usage data.
• Must have extensive experience with Python and PTS
• Must have excellent understanding and implementation of security best practices for API development, including authentication, authorisation, and data encryption mechanisms.
• Must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Should have experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
• Should have an understanding of testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Should have skills in optimising API performance and addressing scalability challenges.
• Should have an understanding of Web Sockets and Server Side Events and integration with UI
• Active Security Clearance (SC) is required for this position.
