Job Requirements
• Architectural qualification recognized by Board of Architects
• Minimum 3 years experience in design and project management and familiar with local building codes
• Able to work independently
• Committed and motivated senior architect with many years of experience and able to lead the teams to develop and prepare the schematic design drawings for client’s review and approval and to a stage to enable the other consultants to commence preliminary/detailed design work.
• Research and propose ‘green’ (environmentally-friendly) concepts in architectural designs, and promulgate use of ‘green’ material and equipment in designs.
• Able to guide the Drafting Office to prepare drawings for the various stages, and to co-ordinate tender documents.
• Monitor and guide the Drafting Office on all matters concerning submission to the relevant government authorities for approval and endorsement.
• Able to co-ordinate technical matters.
• Prepare, monitor and update the project schedule and submit the schedule to the client for approval.
• Lead team to attend consultants/site meetings and in the preparation of the minutes of meeting.
• Co-ordinate the schedule, check and monitor the status of the various competent authorities’ submission/compliance and application.
• Ensure compliance to the competent authorities’ requirements and preparation of the necessary forms, calculations, letters and documents in other forms
• Proficient in ACAD, Sketchup, Revit and/or ArchiCAD
