Role: Scrum Master / Agile Lead
Length of contract: 6 months
Contract extensions: 12 months extension
Location of work- Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney
Security clearance- Must be an Australian Citizen

We seek Scrum Master / Agile Lead (SM / AL) capabilities as follows:
• Ability to define and manage objectives, goals, epics, features, stories, scope, and product domains with experience applying SAFe practices and Microsoft DevOps
• Ability to effectively manage product backlogs, consulting with agile teams and product owners to obtain optimized product backlog items
• Experience enabling, managing, and coaching sprint teams to be successful
• Experience facilitating communication between team members and product owners to enable delivery.
• Experience working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of agile delivery frameworks
• Experience in leading the adoption and implementation of agile practices
• Ability to oversee the transition of an organization or team to Agile
Key duties and responsibilities of the role:
• Defining and managing Program Increment Objectives and Sprint Goals, as well as epics, features, stories, scope, and product domains using SAFe practices and Microsoft DevOps
• Managing product backlogs, and consulting with agile teams and product owners
• Enabling, managing, and coaching sprint teams to deliver within objectives and use of Microsoft DevOps
• Facilitating communication between stakeholders and collaborating with other agile practitioners to improve the Digital Delivery Framework
• Leading the adoption and implementation of agile practices
Essential Criteria:
1. Technical Agile Management Skills: Ability to define and manage objectives, goals, epics, features, stories, scope, and product domains with experience applying SAFe practices and Microsoft DevOps. Ability to effectively manage product backlogs, consulting with agile Teams and product owners to obtain clear and concise product backlog items.
2. Collaborative Agile Management Skills: Experience enabling, managing, and coaching sprint teams so that they can perform successfully and effectively using agile tools including Microsoft DevOps. Experience facilitating communication between team members and product owners through in-person or virtual meetings and keeping focus on project completion. Experience working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of agile SAFe and the implementation frameworks in an organisation.
3. Adoption of Agile Skills: Experience in leading the adoption and implementation of agile practices, and in overseeing activities to ensure that agile standards are being applied. Ability to oversee the transition of an organization or team to Agile, including integrating existing procedures and methodologies with agile principles within an organization’s framework.
4. Communication and liaison skills, a strong understanding of agile SAFe principles, and an ability to lead an collaborate with product managers and technical practitioners.
5. Excellent English language, writing, and communication skills. Extensive skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio to produce documents, presentations, diagrams, and infographics
