DATA ANALYST + OUTSIDE IR35 HYBRID - CAN COMMUTE TO DENMARK DANISH SPEAKING IS DESIRABLE Data Analyst Role Working with a global insurance consultancy who are seeking a data analyst to join their Danish project team, to focus on the deployment of the technology solution requirements. This role is to work as a liaison among stakeholders and SMEs to elicit, analyse, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business data, processes, and information systems. Additionally, Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. Key Responsibilities Understands the factors and requirements that drive the business' goals, objectives and work practices Conducts detailed data analysis across the business areas Contributes to workshops Works with stakeholders to identify business impacts and / or issues and to ensure understanding and support for proposed solutions Documents and presents data / process flows / diagrams, analyses and suggests improvements Assess global technology solution against local business requirements for data flows. Complete data quality assessment Document data items that require remediation Agree approach and plan to remediate data quality items Assessment and confirmation default backload scope applicable for country Model and confirm any change to volumetrics based on country implementation Define and document configuration requirements for data models Define BAU adoption MI and KPIs for data quality and management Update in-country joiners/leavers process with new data management requirements Develop collateral supporting local configuration and customisation built for the country Qualifications Essential: Experience of data architecture and data flow design Experience on databases (SQL, Oracle, IBM DB2 etc) Experience with cloud based storage solutions (MS Azure preferrable) Experience of using Process architecture and business knowledge to define requirements and complete configuration specifications to deliver the required business process Desirables: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Cultural awareness and able to adapt style and approach to the country they are working in Numerate and IT literate and a proficient user of Microsoft Office tools specifically: PowerPoint and Excel Experience of Process modelling tools (e.g. Visio) and any resource or financial planning tools Experience in documenting and presenting process flows / diagrams Understanding of organisation structure, functional interaction and roles and responsibilities Understanding and experience of the full project lifecycle Business Process Mapping / Modelling Business Requirements Definition & Management Systems Analysis - Reconciling Business Requirements with System Capabilities Functional Testing Design and Execution (business configuration validation
