TalentWorld is recruiting a Web Solutions Architect in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement website content and functionality for the client.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for digital initiatives, ensuring accessibility standards.
• Analyze website metrics and SEO, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Document and communicate best practices for ongoing web maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate web initiatives.
• Lead the analysis, development, and design of websites, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Stay updated on emerging web trends and apply them within the client framework.
• Provide expertise in standard web programming environments and Open-Source software.
• Design and develop multilingual websites with a focus on accessibility.
• Assess and improve the performance and capacity of existing systems.
• Apply industry web and security standards, participating in design sprints and scrum ceremonies.
• Promote content on social media to enhance the client’s digital presence.
• Contribute to the migration of sites across technology platforms.
• Ensure consistency in style, fonts, and tone across digital platforms.
• Address digital dealer registration processes and systems for optimal performance.
• Provide leadership in conveying a vision for the team and creating technical documentation.
• Design modern architectural patterns for complex, reliable, secure, responsive, and scalable IT solutions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or related field
• Proven experience in web programming (HTML5, CSS3, XML, Javascript, ASP, Ruby.ASP, Java)
• Hands-on expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and Figma
• In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and ARIA implementation for accessibility
• Experience in microservice design, cloud-based solutions, and mobile design
• Strong understanding of software standards and best practices
• Familiarity with Open-Source software (Linux, WordPress, Drupal, Solr, Git, Apache)
• Leadership in agile methods, design sprints, and scrum ceremonies
• Effective collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Adaptability to emerging web trends within the Government framework.
• Understanding of AODA and related regulations
• Experience in content creation, social media promotion, and mobile technologies
Employment Details
• Salary: $50.00HR - $55.00HR
• Benefits: 37.5 Hours Weekly, Contract, Hybrid
• Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday to Friday
• Other: 10 months contract, possibility of extension
