Role: Golang Developer - 6 Month Contract - Leading Digital Consultancy - London 1-2 Days per week, rest Remote
I am currently working with a well know global consultancy who are looking to add a Golang Developer to their team to work on a programme for one of their clients building out a brand new platform as part of a greenfield project for a Retail Bank. The role will focus on Golang, Java, PHP and AWS and will focus on eCom integrations.
This Golang Software Engineer role offers the opportunity to drive the successful delivery of a brand new internal project for a Financial Services client without needed prior experience in this industry.
The Golang Programmer will have the following experience:
• Extensive Development/Engineering experience with Golang and preferably a previous background in Java or PHP
• A solid understanding of product development, DevOps/SRE and Software Development is key utilising monitoring tools such as Grafana, GraphQL, Prometheus, Site 24x7, Snyk Bullet Proof, DNS Filter, Intune and Port Swigger
• Full-stack development experience would be really beneficial to the role and experience working on Maria DB would be good; the application sits on AWS on the cloud so this experience is also key - particularly QuickSight, Database Migration Service (DMS), Security Hub, Simple Email Service, MSK, ECR, Bastion and VPN as part of AWS
• In addition to this anyone with Helm experience with Kubernetes, Elastic Search and Kafka will also be of interest
• Any automation testing experience utilising Cypress for UI automation would also be beneficial to this role
This role is an initial 6 month contract working for a global Digital Consultancy brand for their Retail Banking customer in London with 2 days per week in the office for their client and the rest working remotely.
