Templeton and Partners are looking for Senior Gaming Designer for our global client based in UK
Location- West London, hybrid
Contract : B2B, inside IR35
Responsibilities:
1. Game Design:
o Lead the conceptualization and design of innovative motion game mechanics and systems.
o Develop detailed design documentation, including gameplay mechanics, level designs, and progression systems.
2. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with artists, programmers, and other designers to ensure the seamless integration of gameplay features.
o Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
3. Prototyping and Iteration:
o Create prototypes to test and iterate on gameplay mechanics.
o Analyze player feedback and data to refine and enhance the player experience.
4. Content Creation:
o Design and implement game levels, missions, and challenges.
o Balance game economies, progression systems, and difficulty curves.
5. User Experience:
o Ensure a smooth and enjoyable player experience through thoughtful interface and user experience design.
6. Computer Vision (nice to have):
o A knowledge of gesture control, motion gameplay and non controller based input & game mechanics
Requirements:
1. Experience:
o 5+ years of professional experience in game design, with a focus on casual/mobile titles.
o Shipped at least two successful game as a lead or senior designer.
2. Skills:
o Proficient in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.).
o Strong understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and engagement strategies.
3. Communication:
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Ability to articulate and defend design decisions.
4. Passion:
o A genuine passion for gaming and a deep understanding of various game genres
