LaSalle has partnered with a dynamic hospitality management company overseeing a portfolio of vibrant hotels and resorts, and we're seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team at one of their Gold Coast locations in Chicago! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interim Senior Accountant to join their team for a 90-day period. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of their company by overseeing key accounting functions and supporting their growth initiatives. Interim Senior Accountant Responsibilities : - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements - Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion - Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, and other key accounts - Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the company's financial resources - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Collaborate with other departments, including operations, sales, and human resources, on financial matters - Stay up to date on accounting standards and best practices Interim Senior Accountant Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry - Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Availability to work onsite five days a week (Monday - Friday) If you are looking for a new job to get you through the Holiday Season, this Interim Senior Accountant role is the role for you!
