Position: SRE with Hadoop/Bigdata
Location: NJ – Remote (Visit client location twice in a month)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
SRE Engineering role expectations
• It is production support and not development
• Follow the Sun Model: India, Dublin, US
• Coverage for IND associates: IST Time & US overlap hours. On call support over the weekends
• Knowledge on Hadoop / Big Data is a must
• It is Production Support & code fixes that would go thru the QA & UAT life-cycles. So it is not L1-support nature of work but associate should be part of the release life-cycle
