Job Title: IT Manager

Bay Cities, a leading packaging and design company, is looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee all IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology) operations within the company. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people. The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of our company.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all technology operations (e.g., network security) and evaluate them according to established goals.
• Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
• Implement and manage all IT and OT related infrastructure, databases, network systems, servers, virtual servers, and cyber security measures.
• Maintain knowledge and oversight of PLC's, SCADA systems, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and digital transformation strategies.
• Utilize knowledge of ignition software and other relevant IT tech stacks to optimize operations.
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
• Control the IT department budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Manage IT staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
• Manage and coordinate efforts for incident management, service continuity, risk management and disaster recovery.
• Conduct regular system audits and software performance tuning.
• Manage and report on allocation of IT budget.
• Create, maintain and present dashboard reports and data analysis to key stakeholders and executives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as IT director or similar role.
• BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus.
• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
• Experience with PLC's, SCADA systems, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.
• Knowledge of data analysis, budgeting and business operations.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong strategic and business mindset.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
