As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will work closely with different teams across all lines of services and focus on executing and delivering projects. This is a growing team of professionals focusing on various emerging technology with a strong focus on advanced analytics PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
• Providing advisory services to assist clients in business intelligence projects, data mining and data warehousing solutions.
• Drive analytics vision and digital strategies to integrate advanced analytics solutions for clients.
• Ability to clearly articulate models to both technical and senior business stakeholders.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to understand the underlying business initiatives.
• Undertaking business development activities to raise awareness of both the Firm internally and with external clients.
• Supervising, coaching and developing individual team members in your assignments.
The candidate should have:
• Performing business analytics, use of continuous monitoring tools and verifying system functioning to help improve data quality and monitor business performance.
• Providing consulting service through analyzing client server systems and multi-platform systems while providing business insights through visualization, trend and correlation analysis and data mining to the client and develop internal work plans and project approaches. You will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest / assurance process of a client's operations utilizing our practice methodology to assess our client's operations.
• You will be responsible for conveying pragmatic solutions to our client's business problems through the use of written reports and presentations. The opportunity will be available for you to develop your responsibility in supervising, coaching, developing and leading teams and individual team members.
• For more senior position, you will be expected to develop our propositions around data for our clients.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Engineering or Big Data or relevant fields
• Experience with Data Engineering or Big Data Technologies, or Data Transformation, and modeling.
• Experience in architecting and building scalable data platforms.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies (Data Lake, Azure, Google, AWS, Snowflake, etc.) or experience with open-source technologies (Spark, Kafka, Presto, Hive, Cassandra etc.), and not limited to Cloudformation, ElasticBeanstalk and EC2.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design and Database Design.
• Experience with SQL and/or NOSQL databases.
• Experience in React and React Native a bonus.
• Hands on experience in Python and R.
• Hands on experience in any of the business intelligent and analytics tools such as QlikView, Tableau, SAS, IDEA, ACL, Oversight Systems, SAP BI, etc.
• Knowledge of an ERP e.g., SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Efficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to interact with senior management.
• Effective project management, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential; and
• Flexibility to travel to out-of-town engagements.
• Good communication skills in both oral and written English – and preferably also in Chinese.
