Responsibilities:
• Participate in new product design evaluation, providing design for test feedback and requirements to ensure testability and coverage.
• Develop test plans and specifications based on design requirements.
• Manage project timelines and communicate action plans effectively to deliver costeffective test solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Independently design, develop, and implement software using code such as C++, C#, NI TestStand or PLC for production test equipment.
• Assist in developing departmental objectives and implementing production and test strategies to meet financial goals.
• Track project financials and timelines to meet project deliverables.
• Develop strategies for procuring and installing testrelated capital equipment for production facilities.
• Design electrical circuitry, size components, and collaborate with vendors to develop test fixtures.
• Select appropriate test strategies to ensure safe and reliable manufacturing test solutions.
• Create and release documentation on all aspects of the test solution, including manufacturing test plans, specifications, coverage, and procedures.
• Demonstrate the use of appropriate Lean Six Sigma tools for test equipment qualification, problemsolving, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (EE/CS), equivalent education, or experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a test engineer contributor in a teamoriented project environment, including design and development of test equipment for production.
• Experience developing and implementing software using any of the coding such as C, C++, C#, NI Test Stand, etc. a plus
• Knowledge of electronic hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problemsolving skills.
• Some travel is required.
