DV Cleared (HLC) Senior Software Developer - £650-£750pd Inside IR35 - 12 months+ - Hybrid working (London)
My client is a Global Defence Consultancy who are looking for a number of HLC DV Cleared Senior Software Developers to join an engineering team, integrated within a high-profile client's engineering community, based in London. The successful candidate will be involved in the full software delivery lifecycle for innovative, business-critical technology and will be expected to play a key role alongside industry and customer partners.
Responsibilities
• Act as an adviser to the customer by:
• Build and develop relationships with key technical influencers, decision makers, and top executives.
• Understanding the customer business
• Understanding how our Product or Solution achieves business benefit
• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-availability, low latency systems
• Develop against shared codebases
• Integrate features within the wider system
• Peer review code and documentation
• End-to-end automated and manual testing
• Planning and execution of unimpactful deployments
• Maintain and support Live systems
• Optimise delivery patterns
• Maintain COTS products integrated within Live systems
Required Experience:
• C#/java, .NET Core
• Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• xUnit
• Agile working practices
• CI/CD tooling
Desirables:
• Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)
• ELK (Elastic stack)
• Javascript
• Cypress
• Linux experience
• Search engine technology (e.g. ElasticSearch)
• Big Data Technology experience (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.)
• Microservice and cloud native architecture
Candidates must be prepared to join a 1 week in 4 out of hours support rota, after suitable training.
