Offsetdata is in search of an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team and drive the growth of a cutting-edge data monetization platform. As a pivotal team member, your focus will revolve around leveraging the capabilities of the MERN stack. This involves crafting data storage solutions, creating read-write access APIs, and facilitating blockchain-based data storage as an integral part of our flagship products. You'll also play a crucial role in building the backend infrastructure for our data marketplace, enabling B2B companies to effectively sell their data.

Responsibilities include:
• Designing and implementing robust systems with a strong focus on data standards and compliance (Node.js and Express.js)
• Design and implement efficient, secure, and scalable backend APIs and services, ensuring seamless integration across the Frontend, Backend, and external services (GraphQL, React)
• Contribute to platform architecture and design, fostering skill development in architectural aspects (prior experience in architecture is not mandatory).
• Manage platform data for optimal performance, ensuring legal adherence in data handling and privacy regulations are met. (MongoDB, Redis)
• Take a prominent role in code review processes, both reviewing peers' code and ensuring your code is comprehensible for others' reviews. (Github, Git)
• Contribute actively to discovery, ideation, and research, and collaborate with engineers to identify, prioritize, and iteratively resolve problems.
• Get involved in Dev, Staging, and Prod cloud-based solutions leveraging GCP, Buckets, Instances, Nodes and Services.
• Contributing to CI/CD processes and advocating for DevOps best practices (Github Actions)
• Containerizing applications for efficient deployment (Docker, Linux)
Success in this role means mastering the design of resilient systems, enhancing performance, and providing secure, scalable, and exceptional user experiences. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping our tech roadmap, aligning closely with our organizational objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in constructing full-stack applications, preferably within the realm of SaaS products centred around API sales.
• Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and associated libraries, such as GraphQL, is essential.
• Solid understanding of the MERN Stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js.
• Familiarity with best-practice software development principles, including clean code methodologies, agile development principles, and other industry-standard practices.
• Proficiency in software development tooling, such as Git for version control, and JIRA for project management, is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly within a team dynamic, consistently meeting deadlines, and delivering results collaboratively.
• Strong aptitude in problem-solving within a collaborative environment, fostering innovative solutions and driving projects forward.
• Proficiency in collaborating effectively with teammates, demonstrating excellent communication skills to ensure cohesive and productive teamwork.
Additional Skills:
• Degree in computer science.
• Familiarity with EVM, Web3, and Solidity is highly valued and considered a significant advantage for this role.
