Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with expertise in Azure to join our dynamic delivery team. As a client-facing professional, you will play a pivotal role in executing daily cloud operations and implementing cloud solutions for technical customer engagements. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on experience, client handling skills, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to the success of our cloud projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Apply technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and customer insights to effectively operate and administrate a cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure all configurations adhere to high standards of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment, aligning with design documentation specifications.
• Implement/deploy configurations with automation principles, incorporating tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc., and maintaining proper documentation for new projects.
• Participate in Cloud Migrations, particularly for VMs, using tools such as CloudEndure, Azure Migrate, with a preference for experience in migrations involving more than 20 VMs or databases.
• Collaborate with team members to engage clients in operational meetings, discussions, process improvement, and contribute to optimizations for the client’s environment.
• Stay updated on technical skills, certifications, market trends, and competitive insights, actively sharing knowledge within the technical community, especially in the cloud space.
• Resolve technical issues with proper documentation and adherence to SLAs.
Qualifications And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in a client-facing/delivery role with a focus on cloud operations and implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.
• Experience in Cloud Migrations, particularly involving VMs and databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and client handling skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Preferred Skills
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304).
• Experience in maintaining technical documentation.
• Knowledge of market trends and competitive insights in the cloud space
