Wright & Wright Architects is seeking an architect to join its team in London. We are seeking a technically proficient architect/senior technician to work on a number of exciting cultural and educational buildings at our friendly and collaborative studio in London. The office is currently working on projects for the British Museum, All Souls College, Corpus Christi College and St Edmund Hall in Oxford, The British Academy and Lambeth Palace. The practice is a supportive, fun and cooperative environment. We have a profit share scheme and provide a shared office lunch. Training opportunities are actively encouraged. We are looking for someone with robust technical knowledge and experience and a commitment to sustainability, design quality and detailing. Candidates must be able to evidence and demonstrate experience in production of construction tender drawings in both AutoCAD and Revit, and specifications using the NBS Chorus platform. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and empathy with our design approach. They will be able to work as part of a team but also with self-direction and initiative, displaying a strong commitment to the job. The following attributes are required: • minimum of three years post Part 3 experience • exceptional technical experience and CAD skills including full proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (2D and 3D) software platforms • experience with NBS Chorus platform for specification writing • excellent communicator and ability to work within a team • excellent knowledge of construction and detailing • talented designer If you are interested, we would like to hear from you.
