As we embark on enhancing our IT landscape, we are seeking an experienced IT Service Manager to build and lead our IT service delivery team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and optimize our IT infrastructure, cybersecurity practices, and service delivery processes. What You'll Do
As an IT Service Manager at Mind Stretcher, you will be instrumental in establishing and managing our IT service delivery framework, which includes IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT team building and management, service delivery management, vendor management, technology implementation and policy compliance and training.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure:
• Assess current IT infrastructure and develop a strategic plan for its enhancement.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and implement a robust IT infrastructure that aligns with the organization's goals.
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
IT Service Management
• Design and implement IT service delivery processes to ensure efficient and effective support for end-users.
• Monitor and analyze service desk metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for enhanced user satisfaction.
Cybersecurity And Security Policy
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and practices to safeguard company data, systems, and equipment.
• Establish and enforce security protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Vendor Management
• Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, review service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendor performance meets organizational standards.
Policy Compliance
• Ensure IT policies and procedures comply with industry standards, legal requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Incident Response And Resolution
• Develop and implement incident response protocols to address IT issues promptly.
• Lead the resolution of critical incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Other Duties
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of service desk agents, IT workplace assistants, and IT engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the IT service delivery team.
• Communicate IT service delivery updates, changes, and improvements to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand IT needs and align service delivery strategies with organizational objectives.
About You
• Minimum Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems or related degrees.
• 5+ years of experience in IT service management, including team leadership and IT infrastructure enhancement.
• Strong understanding and track record in IT infrastructure, technology implementation, cybersecurity and service management.
• Certifications in IT service management, cybersecurity, or related areas are a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and procedures.
