Odds are that with your background, you’ve used some kind of simulation software in your career to date.
Do you want to help revolutionize physics simulation software
This is a cloud base analysis and design platform, where you’ll be focusing on building out the data science and machine learning workflows within it. You’ll work on all kinds of modeling problems and build out new models to help make this revolutionary idea come to life.
Part of your role will be focused around defining the problem at hand, specifying the data that’s need and building the data and ML pipelines to get the right data. You’ll then choose and champion the perfect model and implement the solution in full, including training, evaluation, and fine tuning.
The other part will be in researching new ideas and devising new models to assess the outputs from new simulations. You’ll be encouraged to produce new ideas and explore and create new models that will drive the product/s forward.
It would be perfect if you’re from a background in ML or Geometry, mainly due to the high-dimensional, irregular data types you’re going to be working with. A strong background in optimization will be beneficial here. Of course, you’ll need to have strong experience across a range of machine learning models and tools.
As this is a start-up environment you will need to wear multiple hats at times. That’s why additional experience in data engineering techniques and any knowledge of deep learning frameworks would be a huge plus. Strong programming skills, ideally in Python (with PyTorch) will also be required. Any C++ or Go would be a huge plus too. This must be production level experience.
You’re joining a VC backed company with plenty of ideas to revolutionize this space. Experience level is wide open and we’re open to different profiles. Whether you have years of production level ML engineering experience, or a PhD plus a year in industry, we’re keen to speak.
Starting salary is up to $300,000 + stock options.
