What you'll do at What you'll do Position: Senior Manager II, Data Analytics Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066 Duties: Work with the Marketplace Payments team on operations and strategy; Data Source Identification; Database technologies and distributed datastores (e.g. SQL, NoSQL); Technology Problem Formulation, Data Visualization, Multiple data visualization tools (for example, Python, R libraries, GGplot, Matplotlib, Ploty, Tableau, PowerBI etc.); Advanced visualization techniques and tools; Data Strategy; and Data Quality Management. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events. This position supervises two (2) employees: Manager II, Advanced Analytics. Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business, Engineering (any), Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering (any), Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Skills required: Experience in Data Source Identification for managing data requirements and business processes. Experience in Analytical Problem Formulation. Experience in Data Visualization for complex data sets for communication and business decision. Experience in Data Strategy for better data governance and data quality. Experience with execution of multiple projects. Experience managing and mentoring analytics team. Experience with customer-focused business solutions. Experience in operational management. Experience in Data Analysis and technical knowledge of SQL, Reporting, and scripting languages. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $163,571/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
