Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Full Stack - Job Opportunity

We are currently looking for Full Stack Software Engineers to join our team and help drive a major transformation within Capital One.
What You'll Do
• Lead a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that meet regulatory needs for the company.
• Stay up-to-date with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, mentor other members of the engineering community, and occasionally code or evaluate code.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial success.
• Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as open source databases, container orchestration services, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply).
• Minimum of 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• Minimum of 4 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree.
• 9+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
• 7+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
