Senior Java Developer with Geneva position with a leading financial company
This position is hybrid in Jersey City.
Minimum Required Qualifications: Primary Skills:
• Strong working knowledge of Vendor SS&C product Geneva
• Expertise and deep understanding in Geneva internals and object structure.
• Extensive experience with the accounting treatment of a wide range investment product types, including equities, various fixed income products and derivatives.
• Experience with Geneva software version upgrades
• Experience with managing migration efforts between different versions of Geneva
• Experience in writing/updating Geneva RSLs leveraging accounting knowledge
• Expertise in SQL Server and RDLs development and deployment
• Experience in Geneva Workflow Manager.
• Experience in working with Portfolio Accounting interacting Systems - Trade processing , Reference data(Client and Product), Cash bookings and Reporting
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Additional Required Skills:
• Full stack application development experience in the following technologies : J2EE / Spring / Hibernate / Multithreading/MS/MQ/TIBCO/Kafka
• Experience with web services development using SpringBoot / REST APIs
• Experience in designing and building high performance, high availability, scalable, distributed applications capable of supporting straight through processing of large amount of data
• Experience with Oracle / SQL Server
• Strong functional experience in financial industry and Portfolio Accounting System Geneva (3 rd party product from Vendor SS&C)
