Job Objectives
This role is in trade application L3 support team. It is responsible for system resilience and availability through monitoring production system and interfaces, analysing root cause of production problems and developing fixes. It handles escalation from L2 team, supporting them to resolve incidents. It performs BAU system maintenance and operation to ensure application comply to SLA.
Key Responsibilities
• Support trade applications rollout of changes and/or problem fixes into production system
• Work with L2 team in incident management and production monitoring
• Work with L3 team lead to plan problem fix to meet TRO
• Implement changes in production following Aldon LME and/or DevOps process
• Attend and present change items in CAB and CCM meetings
• Analyse production issue trend and give feedback to development on quality improvement and issue prevention
Key Requirements
• 6 or more years IT working experience in production support role in bank/FI environment
• Alternatively, working experience in development role is acceptable, understand application issue, analyse root cause and implement fix
• Be proficient and hands-on experience in AS400 system and COBOL programming; be able to use TAMIC tool is an advantage
• A team player good at collaborating with own teammates and partner teams to get job done
• Ability to work independently and sharp problem analysis and resolution skills
• Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Time management and work prioritization
• Be able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasking
• A fast learner, he/she will need to expand work scope to support J2EE application on open system (Linux, UNIX
