PURPOSE:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Web Publisher cum SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in managing and updating content on our websites while also overseeing our external CMS service provider engagements. Additionally, the candidate should possess basic SEO expertise to contribute to SEO initiatives through technical audits, implementing fixes, and providing insightful website traffic reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
• The web publisher will coordinate, manage and update content on FUJIFILM Business Innovation websites.
• The web publisher is responsible for ensuring content is consistent with Corporate required site standards and style guides, working side-by-side with a variety of internal content owners and external service provider to publish and optimize content that promotes department and company objectives.
• In this role, the web publisher will be the gatekeeper of the incoming tickets, check and then assign the tickets. Some changes from the tickets will be managed by the web publisher, others will be assigned by the web publisher to the external service provider. The web publisher then checks and manages the external service provider’s work.
• In the event of a CMS transition, the web publisher will be one of the key members to manage this area.
TASKS:
• Day-to-day monitoring of regional websites
• Subject matter expert for content management system and websites for content publishers across the region
• Work hands-on with business units to proactively plan how website and content can be organized to support effective communication
• Act as approver and publisher in CMS approval workflow
• Understand and work with FUJIFILM Business Innovation content governance guidelines and editorial style guide to ensure content aligns with brand standards and overall site style
• Development of new front-end functionalities within these sites with CMS vendor
• Conduct ongoing audits of site content, updating, maintaining, and retiring content as needed
• Troubleshoot content management tool and resolve technical issues
• Manage support ticket system and track SLA for Website operation request
SEO Expertise
• Conduct regular technical audits of websites to identify SEO opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Implement technical fixes with external service provider to enhance website performance, crawlability, and indexability.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, and other elements for improved search engine rankings.
• Utilize analytics tools to generate insightful reports on website traffic, user behavior, and SEO performance.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to enhance SEO strategies.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
• 2-3 years of experience in Content Management, Web Development or related field
• Diploma in Computer Science, Multimedia and visual communications, or Information Technology
• Passionate about web content best practices, optimizing content for the web and SEO
• Must have working knowledge of html, aspx and familiarity with CSS and Java
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar and proofreading skills
• Ideal to have an experience with enterprise content management systems, Sitecore or Drupal
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
• Collaborative working style
• Good project management skills
• Experience coaching / supporting non-technical users
• Understanding of SEO tools such as Google Webmaster, SEMrush would be good
• Acquaintance with Email Marketing, A/B testing, SEO, SEM, and keyword research
