We're looking for vibrant individuals to join us as German Language Instructors and inspire students aged 12 to 18 in their language education.
At our school, we offer a comprehensive curriculum spanning Middle School and High School Levels 1-6+ of German, inclusive of conversational and test/prep courses. We align our teachings with ACTFL standards, focusing on real-world communication contexts rather than conventional textbooks. As part of our dynamic team, you'll be empowered to exercise creativity in your teaching approach. Our instructors are encouraged to craft their teaching materials while utilizing our Resource Library as guidance. Embracing a Project-Based Learning model, we assess student progress through engagement rather than traditional exams, fostering a more interactive and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct engaging one-on-one online lessons via Microsoft Teams.
Assign and review homework tasks and projects to track students’ development.
Monitor and record student grades and progress, ensuring their success.
Cultivate an inclusive learning atmosphere, demonstrating genuine respect for every student.
Requirements
1-2+ years of experience teaching German (online or in a school setting).
Native-like proficiency in the German language.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency in using technology and Microsoft Office.
Strong work ethic and exceptional interpersonal skills.

This role is offered on a contract basis and is an equal opportunity employer.
