Founding Full Stack Engineer / Backend Developer
• Up to £140K base
• Significant stake in equity as one of the first joiners

A London-based AI start-up are looking for a Founding Engineer to join their team. They’re currently the 2 founders and are backed by Y Combinator plus the founders of some top companies.
Role:
• Build software product and features end-to-end.
• Work closely with founders, advisors, and top-tier researchers to navigate the complexities of AI alignment.
• Build and grow our engineering organisation, setting a high bar of excellence that propels themforward.
• Tackle unsolved product and engineering challenges - the hardest in the world for LLMs in production.
Tech:
• Backend: Java, Golang, Typescript, C++ with Python as a plus.
• Frontend: Javascript / Typescript expertise with experience in any UI front-end libraries
• DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (e.g: Github Actions, CircleCI, Cloud Build etc.)
• Experience with relational databases (e.g: PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ideally with NoSQL Database
• Solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
Nice to have
• Computer Science Degree and 4-6 years’ professional experience.
• Experience as an early engineer at a fast-growing start-up.
• Interested in and thoughtful about the impacts of AI technology.
• Product-driven engineering approach, keen on delivering exceptional outcomes
