Professional Profiles – Radio Access Network Engineer
• RF Measurements using a CW transmitter and a spectrum analyzer to evaluate the RF signal propagation and calibrate the Radio Network Planning tool propagation model • Interference scan measurements execution and report • BTS configuration, antenna system configuration, cell data planning, radio resources allocation for expected traffic load • Definition of the RF test procedures • Execution of the validation tests via air interface measurement tools • Proven experience in commissioning and testing of Radio Access Networks • Analysis of technical documentation such as entity feature specifications, requirement specifications, Standard documentation • Supervise installation activities and responsibility for corrective actions and installation design amendment • Commissioning & Test plan and procedures definition for RAN integration and acceptance, based on relevant Standard specifications and project requirements • Configuration/commissioning of equipment by local provisioning and Network Management System provisioning • Testing of stand-alone equipment and integrated network • System monitoring and performance testing • Support to Project Managers, Lead Engineers and Solution Architects in customer meetings and project delivery • A valid Driving License for UAE and Oman is required
