Our client in the professional services is looking for a contract frontend developer to work on their client in the government sector. The ideal candidate will work on a tax relief application that is staff and public facing.
Contract duration: 6 months with +6 month extension option
Location: Hybrid in Toronto office (2 - 3 days per week in office)
Responsibilities:
• Perform systems analysis and development on various public facing web applications in React/HTML/Bootstrap/Javascript
• Build features that integrated with REST APIs and databases
• Develop for accessibility compliance for WCAG 2.x AA, AODA, WAI-ARIA
Experience:
• 7+ years experience as a frontend developer working on enterprise scale systems
• 5+ years experience experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, React, Backbone and Bootstrap.
• Experience in using REST APIs, including JSON and XML APIs.
• Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards and/or best practices (WCAG 2.x AA, AODA, WAI-ARIA).
• Experience implementing OpenID Connect
• Experience optimizing for the accessibility features of the platform (HTML, iOS, Android
