We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Developer to join our team and help to drive a project involving full stack development, software and infrastructure architectural design.
As the tech lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development process, recruiting and coordinating with other contract developers, and shaping decisions regarding the technology stack, infrastructure, and integration of distributed systems. You will also be involved in hands-on development activities, including writing code, building features, as well as implementing functionality.
Role and Responsibilities:
Build and work with a small and highly technical team to design and build high-quality, highly reliable system and software
Provide technical leadership and direction, driving the architecture design of the project and establishing best practices and code standards
Write and optimize code, architect and develop features, elevating the technical deliveries of the team
Plan project timeline and development schedules, breaking down the larger project into tasks and milestones to be distributed to different developers and parties
Be the bridge between the development team and other stakeholders, collaborating with project managers and advising technical concepts and progress updates to management
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on web application development and system architecture design. Experience with ecommerce platforms is a plus
Proficiency in .NET Framework and experience with API orchestration. Full-stack development experience, including front-end and native app development, is a plus
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud-based hosting services
Demonstrated ability to coordinate API integrations with multiple software systems
Experience enabling the automated provisioning and management of infrastructure, ensuring efficient communication between microservices, and working with payment gateways
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Github or Bitbucket
Self-motivated, proactive, and interest in leading a project as the Tech Lead
Work Arrangement:
Flexibility to work in our Hong Kong office, Shenzhen office, or partially remote throughout the week
You will be expected to collaborate effectively with the team using various communication and collaboration tools
