Data Management
You will actively manage GIC’s data through technology-enabled activities such as data sourcing, maintenance, and remediation. Our stewardship ensures data remains trustworthy, and of high quality.
What impact can you make in this role?
You will strive to build a high-performance enterprise data infrastructure and create a results-driven approach with data products.
What will you do as a Data Analyst?
• Actively participate in new enterprise data initiatives and projects
• Evaluate business requests for new data and design, test and implement data solutions
• Plan, develop testing strategies and execute end-to-end user acceptance testing of system and data changes in Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Provide support in documentation of functional requirements and specifications
• Work closely with engineering teams within Data Strategy Group and business stakeholders to deliver data products and solutions
• Ensure the integrity and quality of data in the Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Design quality metrics and monitor quality of enterprise data
• Identify opportunities for streamlining of processes and propose changes for improvements
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
• A good degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the finance industry.
• Agile and fast learner and able to adapt to change.
• Meticulous and detail oriented.
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with data models and data extraction tools such as SQL.
• Data mesh such as Denodo will be advantageous.
