Job Description The Enterprise Product and Platform team delivers enterprise level technology stack, products, and platforms supporting key enterprise functions including Supply Chain, People, and Finance. We are embarking on a significant Finance Transformation journey, leveraging, Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud, along with Oracle Integration Cloud for seamless integration. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager, Technical Product Management to provide their expertise in managing a team to gather requirements, design, implement, and own solutions for Finance Daily Sales Data Collection across 18 markets. This role will collaborate with markets, 3rd party vendors, business partners, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that all aspects on the solution from scope/design/build/deployment are delivered successfully and meet the business and technical needs. The Sr. Manager, Technical Product Management – Sales and Cash Sheets reports to the Director, Global Finance Modernization Market Solutions. Accountabilities & Responsibilities: • Manages the Global Sales/Cash Sheet Products including the definition of the product roadmap. • Decomposes significantly complex problems into straight-forward solutions. Consistently brings strong, data-driven business, and technical judgment to decisions. • Identifies core problems or opportunities within business processes. Understands the root cause and impacts for the project and other teams. • Removes bottlenecks to enable your team(s) to work independently. Drives team members to proactively identify gaps and opportunities (e.g., services, workflows, tooling) within or between markets and other parts of the organization. • Communicates ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences, including Directors and VPs. Fosters a constructive dialogue, harmonizes discordant views, and leads the resolution of issues. • Invests time to coach team members to refine their capabilities and close skill gaps. • Assembles the individual team and oversees the implementation of the product plan. This includes ensuring that the appropriate product and project management disciplines are followed. • Drives discussions with key Finance, business stakeholders and local market resources to determine requirements and translates those requirements into a practical and executable Finance solutions. • Manages a cross-functional, global team consisting of McDonald’s employees and 3rd party providers and invests time to coach team members to refine their capabilities and close skill gaps. • Collaborates with the Architecture Lead to define Integration Architecture and underlying technology ensuring industry best practices & McDonald's Architecture standards are followed. • Ensures completeness and accuracy of test strategy, plan & scenarios and assist in any preparation needed for testing. Qualifications • Willingness and ability to live the McDonald’s values every day: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family. • 12+ years of product management or relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years relevant experience with a Master’s degree. • 7+ years previous experience with QSR Financial Applications, experience with restaurant accounting, sales collection, and reconciliation solutions. • Significant experience supporting Finance and related corporate functions. • Experience leading teams that manage a strategically important product and/or a suite of products. • Demonstrated ability to manage products from an unclear problem statement, driving clarity, understanding and discussing technical concepts, managing tradeoffs, and evaluating potential concepts with internal and external partners. • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop project business cases, and measure success. • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends. • Excellent presentation and writing skills, with the ability to translate theory into practical application. • Understand customer centricity, and lead products with that mindset. • Naturally exude team-building, motivating, and conflict-resolving qualities. • Solid leadership and team management abilities including managing people and stakeholders in a global, cross functional setting. • Ability to transform customer requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical level. • Ability to work with 3rd party consulting companies and vendors. • Ability to facilitate collaboration between international markets to ensure alignment. • Curious, task-oriented, and a self-starter, with a proven track record of “getting things done.
