Our client is a $693b global asset manager and urgently looking to hire a seasoned web developer with experienced leading on/offshore teams in previous roles. This is an initial 12m contract requisite that will be covering for their full time tech lead who will be taking a full year of parental leave in the coming weeks.
As a web development tech lead, you'll be splitting your time between hands on coding (60%) and leading (40%) an offshore team of 6-7 developers, doing code reviews, working with PO's on new features, coordinating releases, etc.
The team will be launching new UX at the end of the month, so much of your work coming into the business will be supporting the release, maintaining it, taking charge of it's ongoing data product disocervability. You'll need to be experienced with Java, Spring Boot frameworks, Vue.js, and more in order to be successful.
You'll need to be able to work in the office 4 days per week in Toronto. They're looking to onboard this consultant at a rate between $90-100CAD dependent on experience and skillsets you bring to the table.
