We are seeking an AI Engineer in Singapore, to drive innovation in energy efficiency and operational optimization for buildings and power systems. This role focuses on developing algorithms and deploying control logic on EcoStruxure Building and EcoStruxure Power platforms.
The ideal candidate will combine strong engineering fundamentals with expertise in automation and control systems and will lead a small team of junior engineers to deliver impactful projects.
What will you do?
• Algorithm Development: Design and implement AI/ML models to optimise energy consumption and operational performance in building and power systems.
• Control Logic Deployment: Integrate and deploy control strategies on EcoStruxure platforms for real-time performance improvement.
• System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with existing building and power management systems.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a small group of junior engineers, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate system performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to understand requirements, present solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
• Compliance & Ethics: Ensure AI solutions follow data privacy regulations, cybersecurity standards, and ethical AI practices.
Qualifications:
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably in building automation, energy systems, or smart infrastructure.
• Proficient in Python or similar programming languages for AI/ML development.
• Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, lighting, access control), BMS/EMS platforms, and IoT protocols.
• Experience with Docker or Kurbenetes deployment platform and edge computing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with EcoStruxure Building and Power platforms is a strong advantage.
