SENIOR DELIVERY ARCHITECT AND DESIGN MANAGER
A Quick Summary
One of London’s most prestigious Architecture and Urban Design Foundations is looking for a Senior Delivery Architect and Design Manager with a feel for Urban design to join their team. The studio has a strong focus on multidisciplinary design and works both nationally and internationally across all scales and they are based minutes away from Liverpool Street.
The Role
The ideal candidate will have a degree in architecture or Urban Design. The successful person will report on a day-to-day basis to the Associate Director and the Director of Projects and work closely with outside consultants and clients. Sophisticated and practical understanding of urban planning, particularly a combination of design and construction experience in the field is highly preferred. You will be an excellent communicator, client facing and will be flexible as the role will require some travels to the middle east. This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK.
What sectors do they work in?
They have a broad spectrum of work across all scales in the UK and Internationally. They are currently working on a large residential scheme in the Middle East.
Software and Knowledge
You will be able to deliver design, deal with clients and contractors, prepare consultancy agreements, monitoring the development of the project, bring new technical methods and solutions. A freehand sketching is highly required, as you will have to make some technical propositions on site.
Knowledge of town planning and infrastructure delivery is an advantage. Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and to use AutoCAD, SketchUp Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are essential for this role.
