Position: Product Manager / Contract / Hybrid Our client, one of the largest global financial technology companies, is hiring for a contract Product Manager II. This is a hybrid position in Toronto. This will be on a team supporting payroll products for small businesses, so past experience in a field like payrolling, accounting or bookkeeping is a huge plus. This role will be working in concert with design, development and global product teams. In tandem with global product teams, this role would be identifying customers' most pressing problems, ideating and prototyping solutions, prioritizing product development, and managing end-to-end product management execution. Contract Duration: 12 Months, Potential to Extend What you’ll do: • Deeply understand our customers through follow-me-home research, usability studies, rapid experimentation, and emphatic customer empathy • Analyze our market and our available market opportunities, and establish and communicate a bold, coherent strategic vision • Collaborate with design, development, analytics and business partners to craft simple and impactful web and mobile app experiences • Prioritize and manage product development with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact experiences, quickly Influence a matrix of stakeholders to deliver optimum customer benefit • Be bold and be entrepreneurial; foster a culture of innovation and impact • Lead by example; plan and conduct experiments to validate solution ideas; challenge the status quo • A.I. of course is part of your day to day workflow and is your partner in creative problem solving Requirements: • 2-5 years of Product Management experience. • Past experience in a field like payrolling, accounting or bookkeeping is preferred. • Experience using Jira or a similar tool. • Experience in an Agile environment and working with Scrum teams. • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with business teams to define requirements and work with engineering to drive feature development. • Experience using AI tools.
