A globally recognized healthcare organization with a long-standing history of innovation and impact is hiring a Manager, Data Science to join its commercial analytics team in Tokyo.
Role Overview
This role focuses on delivering data science solutions that support strategic initiatives in Japan. Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across commercial and medical functions.
• Designing and implementing AI/ML models to generate actionable insights.
• Supporting brand strategy and omnichannel execution through data-driven approaches.
• Partnering with global analytics teams to leverage advanced modeling capabilities.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through data.
Qualifications
• Strong experience in data science and machine learning.
• Proficiency in regression techniques (e.g., linear, logistic, time series).
• Familiarity with neural networks, GANs, and other advanced ML methods.
• Solid foundation in statistical analysis and algorithm development.
• Experience with SQL and distributed systems (e.g., Hadoop, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Programming skills in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
Preferred Background
• Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Econometrics, or related disciplines.
