We are hiring a Junior AppOps Technician, Application Development! Reporting To Senior Manager and Team Lead Full-Time/Part- Time Full-time Posting Date November 27, 2025 Closing Date December 5, 2025 Hours Of Work 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Grade Office Location: 6.4 Toronto, ON Great location! Steps away from the main public transit station What We Offer Highly competitive compensation package which includes, base salary, bonus, benefits, and career advancement opportunities! • Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employment What You Will Do • Work within a cross-functional team • Monitor, maintain and restore service for applications to ensure service level agreements are met • Support existing systems and assist in root cause analysis and resolution • Analyze and complete ad-hoc report requests • Document and communicate assigned work and issue • Report and coordinate incident with minimum guideline • Help to develop the knowledge assets required for application support and operation. • Support after business hour and weekend IT related activities on rotational basis. (ex: production deployment, server patching and disaster recovery exercises) • Provide after business hour on-call support on rotational basis The Requirements Needed • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology • Programming experience in SQL and C# • Knowledge of relational databases and MS SQL server • Windows Server experience • Ability to learn fast from internal and external resource • Able to identify problem, collect information and resolve issue with minimum guidance • Abe to identify and report incident from issue with guidance • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Knowledge of application monitoring and ticket system operations • Knowledge of support and operation practice, concepts, technology and tool stacks Education • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology The Team You Will Join Founded in 1988, First National is one of Canada’s largest non-bank lenders.
